How it started

A spice box, a steel dabba, and one stubborn promise

Sunil Choudary started in a single shopfront, blending masala the way his mother did — roasted whole, ground slow, never rushed for shelf life. When customers started asking for the same dabba blend by name, the shop became a small mill. The mill became a family business. The promise never changed: if it wouldn't pass in his mother's kitchen, it doesn't leave the building.

Today the same hands that once measured masala for neighbours measure it for kitchens across India — just with a few more steel drums, and a lot more sacks of red chilli.
